FamilySearch Indexing - Happy New Year

The following is from FamilySearch

Dear Renee,

Happy New Year! Thank you for your contributions to the FamilySearch indexing program last year. All together we were able to complete almost 140 million records in 2009. Great work!

We completed 150 indexing projects. Some highlights from the year include the completion of the 1920 US Federal Census project (except for a few places such as Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico), the Argentina 1869 Census, and many birth, marriage, and death records. We also added Swedish to our list of project languages bringing our total language count to 10 (Dutch, English, Flemish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish).

Since FamilySearch indexing began back in 2005, we have indexed over 350 million records. Most of these records are now available to be searched by the public atFamilySearch Record Search.

Thank you for your help in accomplishing these amazing milestones!
